MALU WILZ Beauté was founded in 1987 through a collaboration between entrepreneur Helmut Baurecht and the Aachen-based makeup artist Malu Wilz. Baurecht had the vision of an exclusive professional cosmetics line. Malu Wilz brought what no laboratory can provide: decades of practical experience as an internationally active makeup artist, founder of the first Aachen makeup school, camouflage expert who also applies her technique in hospitals for chemotherapy patients – and in 2024 awarded the Prix d'Honneur de la Beauté for her life's work.
