Ulrike Castrup is the founder and CEO of SKINENCE. Behind the brand are years in the cosmetics industry – not as an observer, but as someone who knew exactly how formulations are created, what active ingredients can achieve, and what many products lack.

From this experience, no product line was created to imitate the market. Instead, a question arose: What if a serum simply states what it is? The brand operates under JAYBLU GmbH based in Rosendahl, North Rhine-Westphalia – a small, independent company that has relied on substance rather than marketing budget from the start.

The SKINENCE range is based on a philosophy that is immediately apparent in the serum line: each product is named after its primary active ingredient and its concentration. Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%. Hyaluron 2% + B5. Vitamin C+ Brightening. Caffeine + EGCG. No fantasy names. No hidden formulations.

Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) at a concentration of 10% is one of the best-researched substances in modern dermatology: regulates sebum production, refines pores, clarifies skin texture, balances redness. Combined with 1% Zinc – a mineral with a natural regulating and soothing effect.

Hyaluronic acid at 2% – combined with Vitamin B5 (Panthenol) – is a high-concentration formula for intensive hydration. Panthenol supports the skin barrier, promotes regeneration, and enhances the moisture-binding effect of Hyaluron.

Vitamin C+ as a brightening serum works with a stabilized Vitamin C compound that targets pigmentation, counteracts radical damage, and visibly brightens the complexion.

Caffeine + EGCG is the eye serum of the line: caffeine decongests and activates microcirculation under the eyes – epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) from green tea extract acts as an antioxidant and protects the delicate eye area.
