About Us
BEAUTYSTORE is a curated Swiss online shop for professional cosmetics – founded by Urs and Karin Langenegger, built with conviction, grown with care. Here's what drives us.
With 30 years of experience in the beauty industry, Urs knew exactly what was missing. Nevertheless, he had to convince the first supplier. He didn't want price dumping, no discount games – but an online shopping experience with professional advice, premium quality, and reliability. Methode Brigitte Kettner agreed. That was the starting signal for BEAUTYSTORE. In the summer of 2016, the shop went online and has been growing steadily ever since.
Today, the range includes almost 1,000 products from 16 brands. A team that works with the same care and standards as Urs and Karin has been built – the warehouse has moved three times already and BIUTICS, their own beauty tool brand, has been added.
Since March 2026, BEAUTYSTORE has been operating as a GmbH (limited liability company) – a logical next step for the sole proprietorship that began as a family project in an attic room.
Each package contains a handwritten card. In German, French or Italian – depending on where you live. Plus free samples and a little surprise.
That's how it was even when the packages still came from the attic room. For us, a package is more than a delivery – and that's how it should remain, no matter how much we grow.

Urs brings 30 years of experience in the beauty industry – he knows the world of professional cosmetics from the ground up and is the one who answers when you have a question. Not a chatbot, not a form – Urs.
Karin runs her institute HighCosmetic in Rapperswil and works daily with clients – using Skin Regimen, comfort zone, and Methode Brigitte Kettner directly in treatments. This practical knowledge directly influences the decision of which brands find a home at BEAUTYSTORE – and which do not.
Much has evolved at BEAUTYSTORE over the last ten years. But the way we make decisions and what we stand for – that has remained.
